Wednesday Club’s networking event at RAF Defford based at National Trust Croome, was one of the most interesting events the club has ever organised.
Following our delicious ploughmans meal the ladies enjoyed a tour of the museum and talks from three volunteers who had fascinating stories to tell about the crucial role played by over 600 women at RAF Defford during the war.
During the event Wednesday Club raised £100 for the National Trust Croome who will be putting the money towards further renovations at the RAF Defford Museum.
