These terms and conditions apply to networking and events provided by Wednesday Club.
Our events take place in person in a range of formats including exhibitions, workshops, and networking events.
When you book to attend any of our events, you are agreeing to be bound by these following terms and conditions.
Booking and payment
Bookings may be made online or on your behalf by a Committee Member of Wednesday Club.
Wednesday Club Members can benefit from preferential booking rates on most events. Price promotions or discounts on attendee fees must be applied at the time and cannot be used retrospectively.
Unless otherwise stated, event fees include admission to the event, light refreshments and/or lunch/supper where specified.
Payment can be made by PayPal or by BACS Transfer.
All fees must be paid in full prior to the event taking place.
Cancellations and Transfers
All event cancellation requests and transfer requests must be made in writing to:
meetings@wednesdayclub.org.uk.
The following refund policy applies upon the cancellation by an attendee:

When agreed in writing by a Wednesday Club Committee Member, an attendee may transfer their booking to another event. However, the attendee will not be entitled to any refund if they cancel attendance at that other event.
Alteration / Cancellation by Wednesday Club
The Wednesday Club will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of its obligations that is caused any act, event, non-happening, omission or accident beyond its reasonable control (i.e. a force majeure event).
It may be necessary for Wednesday Club to change the content, date or timing of an event or the venue. Where the Wednesday Club considers the changes to the content to be significant, it will notify the attendee of the proposed changes by email and the attendee will be entitled to a full refund unless the attendee transfers their booking to an alternative date or event. The Wednesday Club’s liability shall be limited to the booking fee paid with no allowance for consequential loss whatsoever.
Late Arrival
It is the responsibility of the attendee to plan to arrive at the event or training course on time. Full event details, including start date, time and location will be communicated to the attendee on the booking form.
Photography and Video
By agreeing to these terms and conditions, attendees herby grant the Wednesday Club the right to take photographs of them and authorise the use and publication of said images in print and / or electronically. Said images may be used without reference to the attendee’s name (unless specific permission has been granted otherwise), and may be used for any lawful purpose including, but not limited to, publicity, illustration, advertising, and web content.
Attendees who do not want their image to be used should notify a Committee Member or member of the registration team at the start of the event.
Use of Personal Information
The contact details given to Wednesday Club to complete the booking process may also be used before, after and during the event in the following ways:
Before the event, we may send attendees information such as registration instructions for accessing only events, or directions to venues for face-to-face events. Information may also be shared with our Committee Members to assist in their planning of the session.
At the event, attendee’s names, job titles, company names, email address and contact telephone numbers will be available on an attendee list offered in either hard copy or virtually at the time of the event.
After the event, attendees may be sent follow-up emails relating to the event they have attended or invitations to similar events.
Attendees who do not want their name, job title or company name to appear on any attendee list, or for their job title and company name to be passed on for the purposes described, should notify us at the time of booking by sending an email to: meetings@wednesdayclub.org.uk.
Entire agreement
These terms and conditions and any document expressly referred to in them represent the entire agreement between the attendee and the Wednesday Club.
Wednesday Club has the right to revise and amend these terms and conditions from time to time and the attendee will be subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time that they place a booking with the Wednesday Club.
Law and jurisdiction
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales and parties shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
