DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that in 2025\, Wednesday Club celebrates 30 years of business women networking in Worcestershire! \nI am also pleased to advise that at our second event of 2025\, we will be welcoming Dr Julia Sen as our guest speaker.   Her talk is entitled “Rocking Midlife: the Smart Girl’s Guide”. \nJulia is renowned across the region as a leading Consultant Ophthalmic Plastic\, Reconstructive and Cosmetic surgeon\, qualifying as a doctor in 1993 at Leicester University. \nJulia moved to the Midlands in 2009 to take up a substantive Consultant post in the Worcestershire Acute NHS Trust. In addition to her work in the NHS\, Julia practices privately at Spire South Bank Hospital\, Worcester and is the Director of the Dr Julia Sen Health & Wellness Clinic\, Worcester. \nThe event is being hosted by Worcestershire Country Cricket Club in the View Suite 3 at New Road\, Worcester\, WR2 4QQ and will commence at 5.30 pm. \nOur networking event will be supporting Midlands Air Ambulance and if you would like to donate a raffle prize please email us at meetings@wednesdayclub.org.uk \nVenue Numbers \nNumbers are limited to 40 at this event\, so please do share the event with any female business professionals or friends who would benefit from networking in a relaxed environment with likeminded businesswomen. \nMenu Choices \nPan fried chicken supreme {gf} in a tarragon red wine and mushroom sauce with roasted new potatoes and seasonal vegetables \nOR \nMushroom and tarragon risotto stuffed pepper {v} \nSalted caramel chocolate tart with a raspberry compote \nSpecial Dietary/Access Requirements\nPlease ensure you let us know if you have any dietary or access requirements on the booking form\, or state ‘none’. \nTimings\nThe event starts at 5.30 pm for registration and we aim to finish around 7 pm. \nRaffle\nWe will be supporting Midlands Air Ambulance at this event\, so please get in touch by telephone on 07786 437189 or email meetings@wednesdayclub.org.uk if you wish to donate a prize. \nDirections and Parking \nFrom north: From the M5 junction 7 follow the cricket stumps on the road signs to the ground. From south: from M5 junction 7 follow the cricket stumps on the road signs to the ground. From east: from A422\, Alcester\, continue on this road to roundabout junction with A4440 (Swinesherd Way)\, take second exit at roundabout on to A44\, continue to follow the A44 and it will lead you to New Road\, the county ground will be on your left.
