I am pleased to confirm we will be holding our first networking event of 2023 at Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven, Charles Hastings Way, Worcester, WR5 1DD from 5.30 pm on Wednesday 1 February 2022.
The Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven (WBUH) charity supports the women and men of Worcestershire with their breast care needs. Establish in April 2016, following the work of the WBUH campaign, which succeeded in raising the £1.8 million needed to fund the build of the new Worcestershire Breast Unit.
Some of you will recall that Wednesday Club visited WBUH back in January 2017, and we will be visiting again to learn more about how Worcester’s only breast cancer charity supports the Unit and NHS teams with their requirements (which are above and beyond NHS funds) and to see how the Unit has developed since our last visit, six years ago.
On arrival at this event, you will be treated to a welcome drink and tour of these wonderful facilities, learn more about the charity and their forthcoming fundraising events and of course take part in our raffle to raise funds for WBUH – all their care is provided free of charge to their patients!
After the tour we will be providing a light buffet for our attendees and will finish the evening around 7 pm.

Timings
The event starts at 5.30 pm and we aim to finish around 7 pm.

We will be holding a raffle at this event in aid of the WBUH, please contact me by telephone on 07786 437189 or email – meetings@wednesdayclub.org.uk if you would be able to donate a prize.
Transport Links, Directions and Parking
WBUH is located close to Junctions 6 and 7 of the M5, and is clearly signposted from the A4440 Swinesherd Way. Find directions on Google Maps
The car park is located in front of the WBUH entrance and there is ample car parking.
