Bowled over at Worcester County Cricket Club
On the 29th September
in Worcester County Cricket Club's Graeme Hick Pavilion, Wednesday Club were treated to lunch, networking and an informative talk given by Rob Cobley of Harrison Clark Solicitors.
Rob is an Associate at Harrison Clark in Worcester. With a background in IT prior to qualifying as a solicitor, Rob works for a wide range of clients from small owner managed businesses to large international telecoms providers, advising on IT, e-commerce, intellectual property and general commercial contracts.
Areas covered in Rob's talk were:
• Surviving online – avoiding damage to your brand -networking and wikis.
• Trade marks, the internet and e-commerce – adwords and metatags.
• Online security – spyware – hackers, crackers and script kiddies.
• Legal operations – distance selling, e-commerce regulation and linking.
