Ladies in the City!
On 19th May Wednesday Club enjoyed a 2 course lunch at Browns Restaurant, one of the top eating establishments in Worcester. Andrea Palmer, Committee Member of Wednesday Club, said “Our ladies received a very warm welcome from Browns, we had a delicious lunch and lots of relaxed networking. We'll definitely be coming back for a return visit.”
A number of the ladies used the lunch to promote various charity events, including Tricia Cavell from St Richards Hospice promoting the Midnight Walk who said “hundreds of women, many dressed up, will hit the streets of Worcester on 10th July, so come and join all the fun.”
Karen Tomalin from 2nd Skin Lingerie also used the networking lunch to gather 'supporters' for the Bra Chain Challenge raising funds for Worcestershire Breast Unit Campaign. Karen said “We want old, unwanted, new and even tatty old grey bras to link them together in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the longest bra chain. By simply donating your old bras will raise money to open a dedicated breast unit in Worcestershire.”
